We were staying at a resort on Lido Key and I wanted something special for my husband’s birthday dinner. I found Beso and it was perfect. The vibe is great, the food was fantastic and Andy’s service was excellent. We will be coming back. FYI the flan is literally the best I’ve had in my life.
Delicious offerings! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We highly recommended this resturant!! ⭐️ The cherry tomato w/goat cheese, the steak was very flavorful and tender & the grilled cheese sandwich was scrumptious!! The flan for dessert was amazing! Kudos to the chef & staff!! The bartender tonight had some great moves with the shaker!! lol Matt was good! Thank you Luis for coming to our rescue for more wine!! 👏 I really enjoyed the sangria robusto too! ♥️
Lovely dining experience at Beso with great tapas and nice atmosphere. Each dish came out swiftly and the paella (which you should order right away due to prep and cook time) was delicious. The picanha steak was our favorite tapas dish. Solid spread of dishes but not overwhelming with too many options.
BESO is a total win. We ordered the Picanha, Gambas Ajillo, and Escalivada Catalana. They were served one after the other so we could share. Each was amazing in their own way. Our server, Andy, was gracious and very helpful. We enjoyed the atmosphere. We highly recommend BESO.
The atmosphere was perfect — no wait line, excellent service, cleanliness, and quick attention. It’s a spectacular spot for a date or to enjoy a relaxed conversation with friends. They even have a private room if you want to celebrate a bachelorette party or any special event. We tried several dishes: Spanish grilled cheese, croquetas, picanha, pan con tomate, and the Pa Amb Oli — all exquisite! Every plate was delicious, except for the Basque cheesecake, which was a bit dry that day. Had a great dinner at Beso! We were greeted warmly and seated right away for our reservation. Our server was super friendly, knew the menu well, and kept our drinks topped off all night. The place is beautiful and has a really nice vibe. The food was pretty good — it’s tapas style, so great for sharing. There were four of us and we each ordered a couple of dishes to split. We tried the patatas bravas, queso de cabra, pollo ajillo, shrimp ajillo, and a steak dish (can’t remember the name, but it was delicious!). Overall, really nice dinner with great service. Would definitely come back!
I was really impressed with this restaurant. Great vibe Food was excellent. The portions were really big for a place known for “small plates.” The service was excellent. Had a really good meal, for a reasonable price. One of my favorite restaurants I’ve found in Sarasota
Im not easily impressed and this place did it. Impressive combination of great food, amazing service and nice atmosphere. We had the fixed menu for 12 of us celebrating a friends birthday. Dish after dish were excellent with the patella ad the crown jewel. We had both a seafood patella and veg. We will be back again and again.
Great place for dinner in downtown Sarasota. Spanish food that finagles every micron of flavor from their menu! The theme here is Tapas which allow you to share several of their dishes with your table mates. We enjoyed the ham and cheese toast and a variety of olives to start. Next came the Patatas Bravas, eat while hot if you can as pan fried potatoes lose texture when the cool down, but the sauce they are fried in makes it worth it! We had two of their specialties, the peppers stuffed with pork and chorizo and the most surprising was the artichokes! Wow! To much food for the two of us, but leave room for the Churros and Hot Chocolate for dessert! Fair price for an incredibly tasty dinner. Service was excellent and the cocktails were yummy! The Sangria was perfecto! Highly recommend!
We had an amazing experience here. The vibe is awesome. The drinks & food were spectacular. We didn’t have a reservation, but walked in & sat at the hightop tables in the bar area. The bartender came right up to us and was so friendly. The entire staff works as a team & was all so kind & friendly! We can’t wait to come back.
